Deepen your Practice - Workshop Series

Workshop series to build embodied awareness in asana & pranayama practices.

Each session focusses in depth on one area of asana but is also a balanced practice with an emphasis on building breath & body awareness, releasing tension & balancing strength with mobility.

15 September: Foundations of asana practice, with a special focus on the feet. Essential for beginners, runners & experienced yogis looking to build a more mindful practice

6 October: Hips & hamstrings. Essential for runners, cyclists & everyone who spends lots of time seated.

24 November: Breath & core (including pelvic floor). Essential for absolutely everyone!

Continuing in the New Year:

Posture for living part 1 .. spine & pelvis.. plus more on the core

Posture for living part 2 .. neck & shoulders.. releasing tension

Restore and Rebalance

A meditative practice for complete physical and mental relaxation and recovery. The session will include a warming slow flow & dynamic tension release, pranayama to build breath awareness & longer holds in restorative postures (with plenty of props to support the body & allow for deep release).

Mid Summer Celebrations.. Holistic Yoga Afternoons

Take time to pause, rest and renew your energy. Holistic yoga practices to bring a sense of balance in these long, light days after the Summer Solstice. Choose between 2 delicious afternoons of yoga in a beautiful Dartmoor barn.

A grounding, meditative practice, starting outdoors (weather permitting). Including:

Pranayama (breathing practices)

Pawanmuktasana (awareness building & energy releasing series) & then into the cosy barn for:

Mindful slow flow (with plenty of options - suitable for everyone)

Restorative yoga (using props to encourage complete relaxation)

Yoga Nidra (guided meditation ‘yogic sleep’)

Tea/coffee & delicious homemade treats (all vegan #ahimsa)

Depart at 6pm or join us to walk up Pew Tor for further fun practices or your own quiet contemplation
