“I have attended your classes for over three years now. The ambience in the classes is calm, inclusive and facilitates being fully present. You continue to demonstrate asanas in an ego-free way.

 I enjoy the sequencing and pace of your classes. They instruct me in the need for persistence, patience and self-compassion. I like the way you vary the postures in classes but also value repetition of familiar postures. Also repetition enables me to be more meditatively absorbed. I also like the way you do not over-emphasise "peak postures" or always going as far as possible into postures.

I really enjoy the pranayama exercises particularly at the end of some classes. Having both energised and relaxed the body, finishing with pranayama is  conducive to a deep calm meditative state. Finally I like the way in which you sequence classes with combinations of asanas that promote strength and flexibility.

 From my own teaching experience, I know how hard it is to teach mixed ability groups of students. You succeed in providing something for everyone and teach to people's varied strengths.” PS 25/10/2019
