Almost 20 years ago, I stumbled into intensive Californian style power yoga in Costa Rica and was immediately hooked. Practicing with a wide variety of teachers and styles, I moved towards the more traditional schools of Sivananda and then Ashtanga. I still enjoy strong, dynamic practices, but always balanced with restorative postures, yoga nidra and seated meditation.

Yoga has benefitted me in so many ways over the years. I have seen how my practice has evolved through different life stages, including motherhood, stressful life changes and ill health. I work to share the practices that best support us all physically, mentally & emotionally as we grow and age.

I completed my 500 hour teacher training with the Devon School of Yoga in 2016 and have been lucky to learn from so many excellent teachers around the world over many years. I acknowledge and thank them all. I feel honoured to continue to share these teachings today with a wonderful community of students.

My daily practice of meditation, pranayama, asana and continual learning helps to keep me grounded and balanced. When I’m not practicing or studying, I love to spend time exploring Dartmoor, trail running, wild swimming, tending my beautiful allotment, cooking and sharing nutritious & delicious plant based/vegan food.
